Shailaja Ganguly (ex-Deputy Editor FEMINA, Editor NAMASKAR, FUNDAY TIMES, and The Daily BIOSCOPE for CFSI’s International Film Fests for Children and Young People) is a senior journalist, writer, poet, and anchor who has worked extensively for the communication media — print, radio, television, and stage. She has done live anchoring of Bharat’s top artistes in classical music and dance. Shailaja has taught creative writing at Sophia’s Open Classroom and scripted, anchored, and produced Air India’s in-flight Indian music for several years under contract with HMV (now Saregama).
A polyglot who is currently studying Sanskrit, her column — Chhotisi Baat on Facebook is very popular. She has written Festive Season (Short Stories) and Surrender — A Spiritual Biography of the late A. A. Khan, ACP Crime (Yogi Impressions). Torrents (a collection of poems) is due for publication.
