Shailaja Ganguly

Shailaja Ganguly, former Deputy Editor of Femina and Editor of Namaskar, Funday Times, and The Daily Bioscope for CFSI’s International Film Fests for Children and Young People, is a senior journalist, writer, poet, and anchor with extensive experience across print, radio, television, and stage.

She has also anchored live performances by some of Bharat’s top artists in classical music and dance. Shailaja has taught creative writing at Sophia’s Open Classroom and, for several years, scripted, anchored and produced Air India’s in-flight Indian music with HMV (now Saregama).

A polyglot who is currently learning Sanskrit, she writes a popular column, Chhotisi Baat on Facebook. She has authored Festive Season (a collection of short stories) and Surrender: A Spiritual Biography of the late A. A. Khan, ACP Crime (Yogi Impressions). Torrents, a collection of poems, is due for publication.
