Yogi Impressions, based in Mumbai, are publishers of Motivational and Spiritual books. Our present focus is across the following broad categories: personal growth, self-improvement, spirituality, non-duality, kundalini,religion, mythology, paranormal, tarot, biography, mental health, parenting, health and wellness, alternative health, enlightened business, multicultural studies, and also children’s books. Our works appeal and cater to a wide, general audience. We currently do not publish poetry. You are requested not to submit work that does not fit these categories.

Before sending your manuscript to us, please ensure it is error-free in terms of grammar, spelling, punctuation etc. Manuscripts that do not conform to these basic requirements will not warrant our attention.

GUIDELINES FOR SUBMITTING YOUR PROPOSAL

1. Tell us about the book.
   
2. Say something about yourself and your qualifications to write this book (a detailed statement of author credentials/biographical information).
   
3. Tell us about the market for your book:
   
   1. What are the similar books are already published?
   2. How have those books sold (note any bestseller lists, awards, Amazon.com ranking, check with your local bookstore or the publisher, and check the copyright page for the number of printings).
   3. How is your book idea different from and better than these books?
   4. Additional markets in which your books could sell.
   5. What you would be willing to do to promote your book?
   6. What organizations are you affiliated with?
   7. Endorsements you will obtain for the book.
      
4. How do you plan to publicise your book - through print, TV, radio or electronic media, bookstore readings/events.
5. Include a synopsis of the book and  a table of contents, two or three sample chapters, or the complete manuscript. (We prefer receiving the complete manuscript.)
6. If you have a website, you may submit the URL. Include all information you may wish may us to consider. Due to the high volume of Submissions received, we cannot search websites for more information on your work.
   

IMPORTANT: 

Make sure to include a self-addressed, stamped envelope if you want your manuscript returned. Please see that the envelope is large enough to contain the manuscript, and that you include sufficient postage for its return.  We will not be held responsible for lost or misdirected manuscripts, photos, or artwork, hence do not submit originals. We are not responsible for any loss or damage to the manuscript while it remains in our possession, although we take great care in handling and storage.

It usually takes twelve weeks before we can respond to the work submitted to us. However, in certain cases, it can take up to six months for a response and/or return of your work. Therefore, kindly be patient as publishing houses are continuously working on several projects simultaneously, which are at different stages of progress.

We shall not entertain any phone calls regarding the status of proposals, since we receive many manuscripts. If you do not hear from us within 8-12 weeks regarding the status of your manuscript, please understand that we will not be taking it up for publishing.
